American band Tennis Club release new album of nine tracks named Pink via Elefant Records on 10” pink vinyl limited at 500 copies and full digital release.
Coming in at just over twenty minutes Pink is firmly rooted in garage surf pop merging the likes of early Beach Boys and 13th Floor Elevators with The Moldy Peaches to great affect. Tracks like Vodkas and London are sharp punchy an instantaneously captivating. With some tracks lasting a minute or less the intrinsic nature of the songs leaves you wanting more whereupon you find repeated listens is in order to satisfy. Pink is a stylish and well executed follow up to 2017’s self titled album.
