Hadda Be
Hadda Be (FKA Foundlings) share first single and title track from forthcoming debut album Another Life released via Last Night From Glasgow due 30th April.
Resulting from a US trademark dispute the band took inspiration from an Allen Ginsberg poem ‘Hadda Be Playing on the Radio’ for the new name reflecting a fresh outlook for the band featuring a slightly altered personnel change with new bass player.
Another Life retains the vibrancy and freshness of previous self titled debut EP for a joyously lustral indie guitar sound beautifully rounded off with Ambers vocals.
Recorded over five days at Brighton Road Studios and in between the two lockdowns the band comment on forthcoming album Another Life: “There’s a vibrancy and an energy to our live shows, a distinct personality that we wanted to immortalise in our debut album. The songs were mostly recorded live, with some overdubs here and there. Due to the coronavirus lockdown restrictions, the recording of the album was delayed twice. By the time we finally managed to get into the studio, we had the songs down to an extent that we recorded most of them in only a few takes.”
