New Morning Blues
New folk duo New Morning Blues share debut single A Face In The Mirror taken from forthcoming album London due 5th June.
The married duo comprising Joanna Backovic and Ian de Sylva, use rich compelling storytelling set against a fusion of folk, country and indie which fuse together to create cinematic soundscapes. A Face In The Mirror is played out with delicate guitars, graceful piano and elegant strings, with Cohen-esque vocals. Commenting on the debut single Ian explains “I dreamt I was watching a country and western movie with a compelling soundtrack, so I tried to replicate that when I woke up!”.
