Mumble Tide
Bristal based bedroom pop duo Mumble Tide (Gina Leonard & Ryan Rogers) return with new single Sucker released via Nothing Fancy records.
After last years debut EP Love Thing, Sucker follows on with the same DIY footprint which gives the duo free reign to create a world of their own which they kindly invite us into. With hook laden guitars and Leonard’s sumptuous vocals Sucker takes on a vengeful undertone with lyrics “So long, so long, sucker” while maintaining an air of dream-pop which mark Mumble Tide as one of the finest new bands to recently emerge.
Talking about the track lead vocalist Leonard explains “This one is just a super fun track we threw together. It’s about feeling confident and free and moving on (or at least trying to). It’s about throwing the baggage off your shoulders and strutting away…but also accepting that it’s not that easy”
