Recorded in Davidson’s home studio (Cherry Row Studios), and featuring guitar contributions from Candlebox’s Pete Klett, who also mixed and mastered the track at his City Sessions Sound in Florida. Best You Ever Had shimmers with a summery retro charm.

Commenting on the latest single Davidson explains: “The theme of the song is loosely based on finding yourself in a position in life that you should be able to embrace and be grateful for but a battle with doubts prevents it.

The track seemed to be a bit more pop/rock sounding so I thought getting Pete (Klett) to do the mixing would do it justice, he also plays a guitar solo in the song so was great to get his signature sound in one of my songs.”
