Discussing the latest single Carmody explains: "This song is about trying to get to the depths of someone who is afraid to throw themselves open and be unguarded. I am asking the person to unravel so we can begin a more intimate relationship and create a language, which we will only find the words for if we are both willing to be vulnerable."

Alongside new single Yosef comes the release of 'Constellation B' - 3 thematically linked songs that focus on "loss and learning to accept a new world without the person you love in it". the second of 4 separate 'constellations' which will all come together on 6th July to form the full Imperfect Constellations album. featuring previously unheard track "Strange" and recent single "Morning" which was co-written and produced by Tom Misch, alongside percussion and synth contributions from rising London producer and artist Conor Albert.

Talking about the release of Constellation B, Carmody comments: "'Morning' in particular focuses on loss, as I write about carrying them with me in my mind, although they are not physically present. 'Strange' is about a walk I took through a cemetery, I was really inspired by observational lyric writing and how artists like Phoebe Bridgers and Alex Turner make the everyday sound beautiful and I wanted to emulate this in the song. 'Yosef' is also about grief, but I am mourning someone who is yet to be found, almost a loss in reverse."
