East London quartet Breathe Panel share new single Stretch taken from second album Lets It In due for release on 16th Sep via FatCat, and announce UK tour dates.
Following previous singles Spring, Lets It In & Love You, I Love You, Stretch is the final taster from the forthcoming album recorded live to tape by producer Ali Chant (Aldous Harding, PJ Harvey, Katy J Pearson). Talking about the latest single vocalist Nick Green comments: "Stretch is about waking up and sneaking out the house to get some air and reset your state of mind. Kind of like giving your body an audience and making yourself feel good."
Living together in East London, frontman Nick Green and lead guitarist Josh Tyler would write songs as an escape from the city or as Nick describes: “A sort of meditation from the mess”, With the arrival of the lockdown, their immediate surroundings became even more vivid and influential as spring turned to summer last year. “I've been reading about Psychogeography and the weird link between where you are and how you feel and how sometimes those two things can align to make you feel like you're in a sweet spot just for a split second or an afternoon,” explains Josh.
