Cutting through with angular guitars and pop sensibilities The Early Mornings sit somewhere between Dry Cleaning and Courtney Barnett , new single Blank sky features a wonderfully gritty lyricism full of charm and imagery all of which is perfectly captured in candidly shot video filmed around the streets of Manchester creating the perfect backdrop. Talking about the video Annie from the band comments: "The colour palette, composition and lighting of the video all mix to create a dullness; a mundane reality which is interposed with artistic references, flashes of colour and surrealism. This is an idea which extends throughout our music as well."
