Team Picture release new single ‘This Is The’ taken from debut album ‘The Menace Of Mechanical Music’ released 12th June 2020 via Clue Records.
Josh from the band explains "‘this is the’ is, loosely, about not recognising your own body, feeling like being inside your own skin is wrong somehow, and the mental inertia that such a sensation causes. it’s about being stuck and blank. it’s the oldest piece of music on TMOMM, and after forgetting about it for 2 years we discovered it again by accident. it almost didn’t make it onto the record but we’re real glad it did. ‘this is the’ is sort of the full-stop at the end of the first third of TMOMM, it’s the dark before the dawn, it gets a little lighter and less introspective from this point onwards."
