Originating as a few friends in a garage, Similar Kind have blossomed into a five piece band playing shows all over the northeast US with acts such as Sunflower Bean, Hot Flash Heat Wave ,No Vacation & more. Having shared their debut EP Faces & Places in 2019, the five piece have released a steady stream of singles since and return with their first of 2022 with I Don’t Wanna Fight Anymore an infectious slice of indie pop with crisp guitars and luminous synth complimenting the buoyancy of vocalist Julia Breen taking aim at the conflict with one’s own identity and the constant internal struggle of trying to figure out who you are.
