Julie Et Joe the new project from Joe Moore (The Yearning, The Perfect Kiss) and Julie Big (Le Superhomard) share album Marelle via Elefant Records.
Full of playful looping synths and beats Marelle is a techno-pop tribute to the francophone options of early-eighties beautifully merged with the vocals of Julie Big.
Lead track Le Midi gave a taste of cool euro vibes upon release in June and this continues throughout the album. Title track Marelle and Single (Game Over) that takes us back to a early New Order or the Depeche Mode. Instrumentals like Polygone and La Séquence that bring to mind Kraftwerk at their most pop.
