Pi Ja Ma aka Pauline de Tarragon shares first single from forthcoming second album to be released via Bleepmachine.
Following on from 2019’s debut album Nice To Meet You, Tarragon teams up again with Axel Concato (My Bee’s Garden, The Narcoleptic Dancers), her producer and co-composer since 2016’s Radio Girl EP. New single Bisou shimmers with romanticism and a playful nature with melodic charm all of which isnperfectly encapsulated in the accompanying video for the track.
Talking about the track Tarragon exlains: ‘Bisou (Kiss) was born one 14th February. It was Valentine’s Day, two years ago. Everyone was drunk, hoping to claim the divine prize, the iconic snog, the Holy Grail of love: LE BISOU. That evening, it was mine!
I went home, still tipsy, grabbed my guitar and wrote the whole song, like a nightcap topping the buzz. I never ran into the boy again, but I often sing his kiss.‘
