Duo Nixer share second single ‘Outsider’ to be taken from forthcoming debut EP ‘People Feel’ due May 2022 via Blowtorch Records.
Following on from previous single and title track to forthcoming EP ‘People Feel’ which dropped in early January, ‘Outsider’ pulsates with a raw and frenzied energy driven through with an unrelenting guitar riff delivered with unfaltering vocals culminating in resolute chorus with vocalist Seán Keenan asserting “People are so hard to read”.
Commenting the latest single Keenan explains “Outsider welcomes, or unwelcomes, two characters to the narrative. The song deals with isolation and the feeling of being unwanted but from the perspective of the empathetic observer. The track opens with discrete chatter about these ‘other’ people, but as the track develops we learn that the song is about worry and concern for others, rather than the exclusion of them”.
