Jody & The Jerms
Oxford’s Jody & The Jerms follow November’s AA-side single Belong//Since Yesterday with new single Get Me Out along with accompanying DIY video shot by the band.
Focusing on small town suburban boredom and the desire to break away from it and seek something different Get Me Out is 3 minute slice of indie pop gold with breezy vocals and slide guitars, written by Jody and Jerms lead-guitarist (and husband) Niall.
Speaking about the video, Niall Jeger of the band comments: “Like many things, plans for a fully produced band performance video went out the window in December, so Jody had to crawl into a derelict garage in Oxford with an iPhone instead and overcome her fear of spiders".
