Following on from their debut single Everyone With Somene released last year Harrison Scarecrow return with New Year’s Eve, another beautifully constructed cinematic gem with sparse piano line creating an unnerving sense of forebode while lyrically providing an insight to a mind haunted by demons, hopeful that a new year would bring about a fresh start.

Talking about the latest single Ryan explains: "The song was recorded in Muscle Shoals and features the same string players that played on our debut single 'Everyone With Someone' - Caleb Elliot & Kimi Samson. We were so pleased with the feeling of anxiety that the string arrangement intensifies."

Commenting on the accompanying video Will (who features in the video) explains: "The video was shot on some back roads out in the country in Limestone County Alabama where Ryan and I grew up. We wanted something that would represent the isolation and introspection of the song.

Originally, we were going to do all night driving and go for a David Lynch kind of vibe, but during a thunderstorm I decided to shoot on a whim. The darker sky & rain proved to be much more interesting. It was pouring and lightning, and I was completely soaked.

If there is a loose theme of the video, it's that you end up where you start."
