Grian Chatten

Grian Chatten, vocalist of Dublin’s critically acclaimed Fontaines D.C., shares a debut solo single, ‘The Score’ via Partisan Records, accompanied by video directed by Georgie Jesson.

Produced by Dan Carey, Chatten took moments of respite from a relentless touring schedule to start work on his solo material shifting to a a different headspace from Fontaines D.C. his hugely successful work within the band. Shifting his creative process from a collaborative one to a more contemplative & solely introspective one.

Commenting on the track, Chatten explains, “‘The Score’ is a heavyweight bated breath of lust. I wrote it in Madrid between an electric fan and a dying plant and I intend to keep it there. It was inspired by sugar and sunset.”
