Becca Roth
Indie-folk singer-songwriter Becca Roth shares new single Past Life via Saint In The City Records. quickly following up from previous single Goddess which was released in May.
“Past Life is about falling for someone who feels familiar and nostalgic,” explains Roth on the new single. “It's about big emotions and pondering the layers of my own inner-world versus the universe on a macrocosmic level. It's as much a love song as it is a song about identity."
Originally from a small town outside of Philadelphia, PA. A graduate of Boston’s Berklee College of Music with a degree in Songwriting, Becca now lives in Los Angeles where she continues to hone her artistry.
Past Life melds Roth’s sweet and sharp vocal to hazy dream-pop guitars, and offset melodies with restless and a searching lyrical journey. Placing it comfortably alongside the likes of Phoebe Bridgers/Julian Baker or Conner Oberst sharing alternative folk singer-songwriter
credentials while maintaining a unique quality setting her apart. With one EP under her belt so far Unstable (2018) Roth has another scheduled for later this year following the two prominent single releases.
