CRACHE

Marseille-based synth-punk’s CRACHE share vital and noisy new single "Mécanique Antipathique" from debut album Plein Soleil due 13th March via Howlin’ Banana.

A catchy, epic, and mysterious track, its French lyrics are conceived as a fairy tale. The king of a decadent world, despising its people, dies stabbed to death and returns to haunt the kingdom. The song stands out for its use of harmonized synthesizers before an explosive chorus.

Formed in 2022 in Marseille amidst a burgeoning local rock scene (Technopolice, La Flemme, Sovox, Avee Mana, etc.), the quartet CRACHE has since been a regular performer in basements across France and Belgium, fueled by the incandescent punk energy of their first EPs: Crache (2023) and Éclaircie Sauvage (2024).

Plein Soleil, CRACHE's debut album, brings a darker, more melancholic and poetic tone to their compositions, without neglecting the catchy melodies and infernal cadences that had made the group's reputation until now, driven by influences like Gee Tee, Together Pangea or Jay Reatard.
