Congratulations

Brighton-based four-piece Congratulations share new single Dr Doctor taken from eagerly awaited debut album Join Hands on 13th February via Bella Union.

Following previous singles “This Life” and “Fought 4 Love”, new single “Dr. Doctor” features warped, jagged and endlessly danceable energy. A sampled foghorn manipulated over a monstrous breakbeat lays the foundation for vocalist Leah Stanhope to channel her inner Britney crooning to a lover before giving way to a funky Prince-style guitar lick. Accompanying the track, the band star in a DIY hammer horror style video, where the eponymous, faceless doctor transforms the band from their everyday selves into horrific rock monstrosities.

Additionally, Congratulations have announced news of a headline UK tour in February / March, including a performance at London’s Moth Club, before they head to the US to play SXSW – dates below:
