On the show this week Mark and Gary are joined by Ralph and Sylvia of Iffy Folk Records who come in to chat about the label and pick tracks from back catalogue along with an exclusive from Pelts. First started in 2011 as a means to release music by Saint Lucia, “a fiercely independent record label based in Glasgow, releasing groundbreaking recordings and leftfield curios from the fringes of modern music”. With an impressive roster of local artists ranging from spoken word of Kevin P. Gilday And The Glasgow Cross to the folk/pop sensibilities of The Sea Kings, Iffy has developed over the years to be a staple of the Glasgow music scene with a wide and diverse range showcased on the show from 15 tracks.
