PFTU 16.11.25

This week on Postcards From The Underground, Sophia Hansen-Knarhoi for a deep dive into her mesmerising debut album Undertow and a look ahead to her upcoming album launch show. Sophia’s sound—intimate, textural, and beautifully off-centre—anchors a playlist that drifts through post-punk edges, dream-pop haze, left-field electronica, and tender indie-folk storytelling.

Sophia’s own track “Afraid” sits at the emotional centre of this week’s selection—paired with everything from the spectral electronics of Austra to the slow-burn psych of Pictish Trail and the shadowy indie of Soft Ride.
