Opening up this week with Arab Strap who share first new single in 15 years followed by The Girl Who Cried Wolf and The Polychromes who both release tracks from their respective recent EP’s Emmy The Great is in with new track A Window from forthcoming album April with Adrianne Lenker following who has announced 2 new albums due 23rd October. Last track of the half hour goes to Lisasinson with another Spanish indie pop classic on Elefant Records.
Kev Sherry gets is underway again with his new single and Kev is in with us in next weeks show. Hannah Georgas follows with new single from the brilliant new album 'All That Emotion' out on Brassland. Next up Mima Merrow with the stunning new single Freckles which is released on 11th Sep. Cardiff collective Ghostlawns are in with new single Ffoi from forthcoming album Motorik due 30th Oct via SUB Records and Glasgow band Jack Brotherhood close out the first hour with new single Friends.
2nd hour gets underway with intimate, experimental folk-electronica from Anrimeal and first track from upcoming album Could Divine, out 20th Nov via Crossness Records. Followed up with new single by Fightmilk from their forthcoming 2nd album released via Reckless Yes. Alex the Astronaut gets another play on the show with Gary proclaiming is as his album of the year. Next up two from Marks favourite labels of the year with Cowgirl and new single released part of Safe Suburban Home cassette Series and Home Counties with new track from their EP Redevelopment out via Alcopop Records. Amsterdam Based 4 piece global charming new single Office Hell takes us up to the adds with debut album 'Mediocre, brutal' available out on Dutch label Subroutine Records October 9th.
Swedish trio ViVii get us underway again with new single Summer of 99 from their second album due spring 2021 via Dumont Dumont. L' Exotighost new single 'Sunny Garcia' follows our via Everlasting Records from forthcoming album 'La Ola Oculta' 23rd Oct. Country tinged indie pop up next from Jody And The Jerms with new track It’s All Up To You. The Son(s) get another spin with new album The Creatures We Were Before We Are Ghosts out later this month via Olive Grove Records. Last two of the night go to show favourites Kevin Gilday & The Glasgow Cross with new single Break Of Dawn out via Iffy Folk Records and Nadine Shah with opening track to her recent album out via Infectious Music.
